I was just looking at this old blog page attempt I started a year ago.  I am glad I waited a year to go back and fix it.  I must have been under some stress to write that crap.  Well, just ignore the first attepts, I promise it will get better from here.
  How about some new info?
I have asked a school friend of mine to help in writing a book.  I am finally going to give it a go and want to take someone with me.  Bev is a nurse and I think she will have good insight.  We have yet to have our first working meeting and I will keep posted of our progress.  No title yet and I will give the premise for the book later
I have started my first attempt at bringing an abused guitar back to life and I am having trouble with the art work.  I need something part scary, eye catching and just says ROCK!  I am not the artist I once was and am lost.  I would really like to give a young artist a good start by being their first customer.  I will pay for the art and will have it signed.  This is all it takes to be able to claim yourself a professional artist.   If you know of anyone, let me know, I would really like to see some work samples.  The guitar body was made by Kaiwa from Japan in 1969.  The shape is called a Flying Wedge.  It was some what beat up, but I have filled the worst spots and have to put a paint finish on it.  It is currently white awaiting artwork.
I have photos of the fiddle I have been working on for about two years now.  No hurry to finish it.  I want it to look good and I sure do not want to cover up the 150 year old workmanship.  This fiddle was in good shape overall, just needed refinished and some parts.  I work on this when I have no other big projects going on.
This is the guitar body after repair and primed for the first time.  All in all in good shape.  You can see the repairs.  The neck is in good shape, just needs refinishing.

This is the fiddle I am working on.  I ahve been working on it for about two years now.  Not in any big hurry, I work on it when I have nothing pressing to work on.  It is about 150 years old and in good shape, just missing some parts and needs a new finish.  The workmanship is beautiful.  No paint for this one.

Our Right to Freedom of Speech and Religion

I was informed the other day that because I do not worship the way someone else does makes me a heathen.
This person, a friend, told me some things that made me wonder where America went.  I am writing this, therefore I have the Freedom of Speech.  But, I was surprised to find out that America is a Christian Nation.
I was shocked!  I do not remember missing any classes on American History, but I guess that I did not get the memo.  I was taught that as Americans, we have the freedom to worship in the way we chose and all are welcome.  Christian, Muslim, Hebrew, Buddhist,  even atheist.  I went and got my copy of the Constitution of the United States, I read it through, including all the amendments, I was not able to find one word about this being a Christian Nation.
I believe in GOD.  There, I said it.  Where we differ is that I do not see a need for a middle man.  Sure, Jesus was a great man.  He accomplished a lot of wonder things and taught us some very valuable lessons.  Even the book of Islam is wonderful to read.  The stories are amazing and the poems beautiful.  Buddha teaches us to walk a path wisdom and that however you worship, you should do so with all your heart.  I could go on and on.  I have no problem with any of these wonderful paths of worship.  It seems to be the people I meet along the way.   I think this country would be a better place to live if some of these people would put as much effort into voting and staying on top of there elected officials as they do on stomping on other peoples rights.  We have lost sight.  This country is on the verge of being lost because, We, the People,
the first cog in the political machine, have stopped working.  That may be the reason why our elected officials
are running a muck and out of control.

Occupy Wall Street

I just read my post and would like to apologize.
I made some wording errors and some sentences appear hard to understand because of that.  I will do better next time and make my ramblings a little easier to read.
I thank you for your patience.

Idiot Civilians, or just plain Stupid!

It is just my opinion, and my blog, to say that a  large number of the civilians in the American population are rather stupid.  I do mean stupid!  I have watched in wonder at the people participating in this Occupy Wall Street, whatever it is, and ask myself, what the?  Are they mad because rich people are rich?  Are they mad because they are poor?  Are they mad at........?  At this point that I do not know what it is they are doing other than breaking laws, being disruptive and just plain not doing anything.  Do these people not have jobs?  How do you get time of for that?
As a veteran, I would like to think that I did my part in making it possible for them to be stupid in public.  As for what they are doing, I wish that I could help stop it.  It appears to me to be an abuse of the privileges of being an American and pointless.  I would ask, how many of these people are registered voters?  How many have ever voted?  If they could get this kind of a turn out on election day, the parties that run this country would more likely produce better candidates and be more productive.  Just think of the power that is in the hands of these people who are too ignorant to know how to use it.  Think of the fear that this could spark in our government officials if all these people showed up on election day to cast their ballots.  But, no, they would rather squat on Wall Street, disrupt those who are working for a living, with no real direction or even end game, and get on the news and cry about their treatment.

I have friends on facebook that act sympathetic to the cause, what ever that may be.  I think that they are upset because less than 1% of the population are wealthy.  I am sure a lot of them earned the position they have and a little hard work could get anyone that same opportunity.  How this statistic; less than 1% of the population of the United States, on active duty, reserve or veteran, have ever answered the call to protect the rights of these clowns by joining the service.  It is a choice, I know.  I just do not see anyone out in the street protesting the government for not letting more people sign up.  Not one person has ever made a stand foe the veterans who are still fighting for the benefits they should already have.  Not one of these people visits the VA hospitals and just says thanks to a dying soldier for his service.  If they ever did visit a VA hospital, they would be out there protesting Obama care and it would have been repealed just as fast as it was enacted.  These people are what is wrong with America.  This news goes around the world and peoples from other countries see this.  Does this really make us look good in the eyes of the world?  The richest country in the world protesting wealth and that more Americans do not have it?

        I will stop here with one thought.  I like money, it lets me do the things I like, but;

GREED IS A RELIGION, AND MONEY IS GOD!
Who do you want to be?
